Dear colleagues,
You are invited on June 1st
from 10:30 to 16:45 to join us for “A day
at Sida” in Stockholm
in person or virtually, on the occasion of
Stockholm+50 meeting.
It will be a day filled with experiences from the ground on the agency of farmer and forest associations, Indigenous Peoples and local communities, youth and women in the climate, biodiversity and
food security crises. Three separate but thematically linked dialogues within the field of agriculture, land use, food systems, biodiversity, tenure and rights will be facilitated with a wide range of speakers. In-between the events networking spaces, lunch
and coffee will be provided to the participants.
The Forest and Farm Facility, We Effect/Vi Agroforestry and the Swedish International Development Agency (Sida) will be holding
a dialogue from 13:15 to 14:45 (GMT+2):
From the ground up: channeling finance to smallholder forest and farm producers organizations
for full spectrum climate action.
The event will count on the knowledge and experience of experts and stakeholders representing several organizations:
