The State of World Fisheries and Aquaculture (SOFIA) 2022

SOFIA is the flagship publication of the FAO Fisheries and Aquaculture Department. This premier advocacy document is published every two years to provide policy-makers, civil society and those whose livelihoods depend on the sector a comprehensive, objective and global view of capture fisheries and aquaculture, including associated policy issue.

The State of Food Security and Nutrition (SOFI) 2022

The State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World will be launched at the UN in New York, during the 10th session of the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) - the main UN platform on sustainable development.

The State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World (SOFI) is an annual flagship report jointly prepared by FAO, IFAD, UNICEF, WFP and WHO to inform on progress towards ending hunger, achieving food security and improving nutrition and to provide in depth analysis on key challenges for achieving this goal in the context of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The report targets a wide audience, including policy-makers, international organizations, academic institutions and the general public.
