We are very pleased to share with you further information regarding the
9th GBEP Bioenergy Week to be held in Asunción, Paraguay on 26-29 September 2022. This hybrid event is organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Industry and the Vice Ministry of Energy and Mines of Paraguay, along with
FAO Paraguay, and thanks to financial support from U.S. Grains Council. In addition, MERCOSUR and IICA will be leading some sessions. The event will comprise three days of seminars and a one-day field visit to a nearby biofuel facility. The aim of the 2022
Bioenergy Week is to foster discussion and exchange of experiences and skills that have been proven to showcase the practicality of sustainable bioenergy and to support its accelerated implementation in the Americas. It will serve as an avenue for strengthening
cooperation between member states and institutions for increasing the provision of sustainable bioenergy services. You can find more information in the concept and
zero draft agenda attached (please note it is still under development and many speakers are still to be confirmed).
Further details on the registration modalities, both for participants in person and online will be circulated soon. If you require an official invitation letter, please
do not hesitate to contact us.
Our kindest regards,
GBEP Secretariat
