Given the high value attached to crop biomass and its important role in sustainable agriculture, it would be more appropriate to consider replacing the word 'residue' with the word 'biomass'. This would make the title to be 'the Crop biomass management in South Asia meeting'.

The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific - South and South-West Asia Office (ESCAP-SSWA) and the Centre for Sustainable Agricultural Mechanization (ESCAP-CSAM) are jointly organizing a meeting on Crop Residue Management in South Asia on Thursday 15 September 2022 from 13:00-15:00 (Indian Standard Time). The meeting will be held at the ESCAP-SSWA premises in New Delhi in a hybrid mode (both virtual and physical participation).
