International Mountain Day theme “Women move mountains”, Western Colorado University's Center for Mountain Transitions, within the
Master in Environmental Management, seeks proposals for 5–7-minute presentations of student-led, action-based projects partnering with mountain women that build social-ecological resilience. Four proposals will be selected, each to receive a USD 250 honorarium
for joining a Zoom panel entitled "Women and Mountain Action" at 8.00 MST / 16.00 CET (TBC) on 9 December. Interested applicants should send a cover letter, CV, and one-minute video introduction to Gillian Bauer at
[log in to unmask] by 18 November 2022. Call for applications: Summer Field School on Mountain Ecosystems & Resource Management 2023 - Deadline: 28 November The Grassroots Institute is co-organizing the hyrbid Summer Field School on Mountain Ecosystems & Resource Management at Igman Mountain
in Bosnia and Herzegovina on 10-19 September 2023. This international training programme examines mountain ecosystems in the contexts of sustainable development and natural resource management. The course aims to equip researchers, students, practitioners
and young teachers with the necessary approaches, knowledge and skills to meet the challenges of sustainable mountain development globally.
