Dear colleagues,

I refer to my previous email below to send you the webinar program with high-level speakers and operational issues:

- the first week is aimed at state or municipal bodies and institutions that manage water;

- the second week targets entrepreneurs interested in possible investments in the irrigation, desalination and fish farming sectors.

For this reason, we kindly ask you to share this information with colleagues who may be interested in joining -  please note the registration link:   https://docs.google.com/forms/d/19gtU3Q52E0uXtWkuuK-gi8acGvtgQHGW_fG1t6K8U_4/edit

Esteemed colleagues,

We have the honour to inform that Italy has organized an Initiative on water - Standards, controls and productive investments –  which will be presented as a Side Event at the UN Water Conference (New York HQ,  Side Event Room 5) on March 22, World Water Day, at 11:00-12.15.

The Initiative will consists of a webinar AQUA TEAM FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT that will take place in May with high-level speakers. The webinar will last 2 weeks (8-19 May) and will offer 2 lectures per day from 15.00 to 17.30 hrs CET. The webinar will be conducted in English.

The webinar is promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, jointly with the Mountain Partnership Secretariat, Tunisia, Kirghizstan, Aga Kahn Agency for Habitat, and with the support of the University of Turin.

The first week - from Monday 8 May to Friday 12 - will deal with institutional and academic topics (regulations, controls, sanitation, ecosystems), while the second week -  from Monday 15 to Friday 19 May - will be conducted also by private sector companies and explore their experiences in the productive uses of water (mainly in fish farming and in desalination treatments).

During the webinar, there will be opportunities to network and to envisage proposals for operational partnerships on which to evaluate and possibly organize subsequent cooperation projects.

If you are  interested in signing-up to the webinar, please follow the link below: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/19gtU3Q52E0uXtWkuuK-gi8acGvtgQHGW_fG1t6K8U_4/edit
